Since our launch, we have received frequent and sometimes shocking reports about problems with service charges.
Often, service charge bills are not itemised. When they are, sometimes after insistence by tenants, we find overcharging, charges for services that have never been delivered, duplicated invoices for the same service, and almost always they involve tenants paying more to the landlord than they should. It is often difficult to get problems addressed or overcharges reimbursed.
We want to build a picture of the problem so that we can do something about it. Please help us by sharing your experiences.
